Illustration Friday: contraption

Medium: Digital

I wanted to stray away from fables and stories for a bit, and do something more me. I went with a Clockwork Android-et. I find the brain to be complex and fascinating, so my first instinct was to make a clockwork brain. I once again wanted to try new digital techniques.

Well I'm not sure what to say anymore so I hope you enjoyed.

    this is a neat illustration - like the colors you selected, especially the blue eyelids and lips =)

    that ear is a contraption in and of itself!
    nice subtle colors and textures.
    ~~maybe a bit more contrast in a few areas...
